Welcome to the Garfield Memorial Post #566 of the American Legion. We are a veteran's organization located near Akron, Ohio by the Portage Lakes. In case you are wondering, there are 597 Posts her in the state of Ohio. Many of the posts have their own place, but many don't. They meet in local facilities such as Libraries, Restaurants, Public buildings or at other fraternal and Veteran facilities. We are one of the fortunate Posts and we owe that to our wonderful members.

Commander Harry Morr invites you to visit our post and join in the patriotic camaraderie of our members. We serve the Veterans, the Nation, State and community.

We are located about half a mile south from Young's Resturant on Manchester Rd. Turn left at the flashing lights before get to Auto-Zone.

The honor Guard is looking for donations for the white elephant auction to be held at the post picnic in August. We are asking for new or unopened items. Feel free to ask local merchants for items, services, or gift certificates. Please turn in all items to the post by the last week of July. If any questions, call
